Founded in Thailand and recognized by Forbes Magazine, Diana Award, and the United Nations, HER creates pathways for menstrual equity by providing affordable healthcare supplies, hygiene education, and sustainable employment for women and girls worldwide.
Hey Climate is a social club for climate action with a tool that makes it easy for anyone to discover LA’s climate events. Every other week, they host IRL climate events to create an authentic space to make new friends, take action, and make meaningful local impact. They also advance the LA climate movement through strategic campaigns and partnership with local organizations. Their latest campaign focuses on rebuilding our LA communities after the wildfires.
Altadena Recovery Team (ART) is committed to addressing the urgent and long-term needs of individuals and families impacted by the Eaton Fire. ART hosts a bi-monthly community donation and distribution center to distribute disaster relief, recovery, and hygiene supplies to impacted community members. Their volunteer-run team strives to advocate for community education and support for climate resilient rebuilding.
Artsy Kids emerged from a profound commitment to address a crucial gap in our society - the accessibility of art for children in low-income communities. Partnering with local schools, corporate partners, and programs within the City of LA and LA County, they provide free art programs and workshops for children to harness creativity as a powerful tool for self-care.
Ekaterina Sky is an international environmental artist and muralist who creates monumental works that serve as visual prayers for our planet. Her art is deeply rooted in conservation and in rekindling humanity's bond with nature. Her latest series, Prayer for the Earth, celebrates and uplifts the planet through collective creativity and intention.
Los Angeles Climate Week is is a movement of people, organizations, and neighborhoods to design a regenerative, equitable climate future. Created by the Collidescope Foundation in 2024, the platform seeks to drive lasting change in local communities through creative expression, civic engagement, storytelling, and community organizing, creating shared experiences that move us towards bold, lasting solutions. Every April, they host a week-long summit for community members and groups to create their own climate-action event.
